mark zuckerberg started off by writing a blog, and i think he's done okay with himself.

this video is of one of my favorite songs “space”, off of josh hoge’s record “everything she was”.  also in the video is caitlin crosby.  besides the vocals being completely nasty (save a few of caitlin’s notes, but i’ll cut her a break, she’s new) the song is probably one of the best ways to sum up lost and loneliness, which i find myself feeling all too often.  we all find ourselves searching again for that one person we lost (whether literally or not), and how we then compare everything and everyone to that person, never being able to live up to our prior expectations.  i constantly find myself looking for that void— or space, to be filled.  unfortunately, it won’t be.  it’s not fair to keep comparing everything and everyone to the precedent.  because the past will stay concretely wedged in the past, and there’s nothing we can do about it.
